El Condesito

Maximum 12-20 or 35 meters

In the early 70's the ship El Condesito ran aground whilst carrying cement bags for the construction of Los Cristianos. Whilst it is not as glamorous as a Spanish galleon it makes for an impressive dive site. The wreck is situated in a spectacular backdrop of giant basaltic cliffs and is home to abundant marine life including many oversized trumpet fish, glass eyes, parrotfish and amber jacks. The propeller is at 18 meters whilst the deck is in 10 meters, which makes it an exciting dive for open water divers and novice divers. Black coral is situated at a drop off at 35 meters and makes an interesting diversion for the more experienced.

Roncadores Palm Mar

Maximum 18-24 meters

Roncadores Palm Mar teams with life! From the top of the anchoring plateau at 8 meters, we drop sharply down a semi-circular volcanic cliff into a large amphitheatre with a sand/rock seabed at 18 meters. Barracuda circle over schools of sea-bream and roncadores whilst amongst the rocks you can find octopus, cuttle-fish, moray eels and spider crab. The site levels off at a sandy bottom at 24 meters where there are garden eels, lizardfish and occasional sting rays.
