La Caldera del Rey

We offer one and two hour horse and pony trekking excursions, for beginners and experienced riders. Throughout your trek, drinks are provided.

Just 10 minutes drive from the bustle of Playa de las Americas you find the traditional working farm of La Caldera nestling in a lush valley, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, volcanic mountains, reservoirs, forests and canyons: The farm is situated in a protected area of outstanding natural beauty, fringed by orange groves, avocado trees and a banana plantation. Here you are free to trek with our horses and guides into a secret Tenerife, seen by few outsiders.

There is free pick-up from resorts. Lessons can be booked by appointment, there is a childrens play area and barbeque area.
